PARENT TESTIMONIALS

More Than A Club

We joined the soccer academy 3 years ago when it was TCF. At first I wondered if training everyday was a good idea, considering that there is still homework and studying to do.

I chose to trust the process, we travelled every day to Randburg for practice because my son Anesu would note miss a day of practice. Later the Academy moved to practice at Steyn City School. Very convenient for us.

What did I notice as a parent:

⁃ The first parent teacher meeting was amazing, every teacher told me how mature and disciplined my son has become all of a sudden.

⁃ His grades improved significantly, never ever had I been called for projects/homework not done.

⁃ He set himself goals which he shared with me and has been achieving each year

⁃ He got Headmasters commendation twice

⁃ He won the most improved player, I can safely say from the coaches feedback, he gives them reasons to continue to give back to the kids in terms of training

⁃ During Lockdown he trained every single day in our back yard, putting all his effort as if there is coach watching

⁃ In 2020 he participated in virtual EURO2020 soccer skills challenge against kids from across the world, He won the challenge.

⁃ Finally I wish to thank Coach Zen, Damiane and Coach Cameron. You each play such a vital role in his soccer career. You are all incredible role models, because of your patience and love of the game and the kids

⁃ I love the fact that this is about a complete footballer, not just about the game, it’s the talks you have with boys when the game did not go so well and when it’s gone well.

You are indeed training The Soccer Royals🏽️

Thembi Chagonda

Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of watching our son grow and mature as an individual. This has been both on and off the football field. With COVID19 restrictions it is unfortunate that I can only experience his growth off the field at home. He has developed more confidence and become comfortable with the individual that he is.

He is more engaging, more experimental and he ventures into chance taking. Results of being a defensive player that has to go into tackles on instinct and calculated impulse.

I have seen him become more disciplined, taking  a keen interest in eating healthily and being mindful of diet. As well as an improvement in physical and mental health. As his performance improved so did his self-esteem and confidence. All resulting in a net positive and upward spiral.

The team ethos has always been about creating a well-rounded balanced player, both on and off the field. We have seen Khumo come into his own personally, physically, academically, mentally & socially. All of these positives are, at least in part, attributable to the team development initiatives.

Tshepo Molefakgotla

Tsholofelo has developed into a strong, confident you man, who has determination in everything he does. He is relentless in everything he does and never misses a day of training. The values instilled have made him into a very persistent boy. He is punctual, humble and respectful. We can see he is going far with Football.
